Spider-Man Day

August 1

What is Spider-Man Day?

Every year on August 1st, fans everywhere get to channel their inner superhero on Spider-Man Day—a day dedicated to everyone’s favorite web-slinging, quip-cracking hero: Spider-Man!

First appearing in 1962 thanks to the legendary duo Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Spider-Man (aka Peter Parker) quickly became one of the most relatable superheroes ever. He’s not just saving the world—he’s juggling homework, jobs, and everyday life. Sound familiar?

That’s what makes Spider-Man Day so fun: it’s not just about superpowers—it’s about heart, humor, and doing the right thing (even when it’s tough).
